***January 2014 - Math Level 2***

800!!!

retook from a 780 to that

@fnl012 So, you retook the test after getting a 780? Do you think that I should do the same if I want to apply to top-tier colleges?

@Hawkace You could retake it and raise it to an 800. You don’t have to to be considered competitive.

@hawkace the reason i took it was because i knew it would only take an hour to study the night before because the i know all the math for it

Guys I have a question.I took the test on January 25 and I was on Waitlist. And I still don’t have the score. What to do??? Do I have to wait? On my collegeboard account, it says that My registration isn’t completed, but I could successfully print my ticket and take the exam.

@book05 Yeah, I could. So far, We have 3 800’s and 1 780. Would you be so kind to share your score? You don’t have to if you don’t want to.

@Zhirayr Scores are released throughout the day and some are even release a few days to weeks later. You were able to take the exam so I think you should be fine and just have to be patient.

@book05 Thanks…

BTW I left blank 7 exercises. I believe, that everything else was done correctly. What is the curve for this test?

@Hawkace
I am sorry but I don’t feel like sharing my score at the moment. I am content with my score though I could have done better but seeing it in comparison to perfect scores would make it seem like a joke.
I might post it after my driving test which happens to be today.

@Zhirayr If you are talking about the SAT Math Level 2, I think that 2 wrong and 3 omitted gives you a score of 780.

@Zhirayr Sorry, I know the wait sucks. There is a thread of students who haven’t received their results yet and took the test in December. Must be horrible.

@book05 No worries! Good luck on the driving test :D!

Oh Gosh. 2 months? That’s too much to bear.

@Hawkace Does it mean that the curve is like 45 minus raw score?

Went from 630 to 650 lol. Don’t care though, raised a 630 Literature to a 720 and got a 730 on physics!

I got a 730… Should I retake it if I want to go to a good university? As an asian, I feel that it will hurt…

For those of you who got 780 or above, how did you prepare for it?

It won’t hurt you because you are Asian. It might hurt you because there are many applicants from your country with higher scores.
