***January 2014 - Math Level 2***

Barron’s tests have way too many useless questions that almost never show up on the exam. Don’t spend so much time on the sequences, conics, other bs and just focus on the basics of functions. Plus, there’s an almost guaranteed 5-6 question curve so that should cover all the “random” questions.

Just a status report.

Scored a disappointing 720 Official Test. 9 hours before the test.

Scored 730 on Chung number 7. Hopefully one of my parents will have time to sign me out of school early so that I can take a few more practice exams. I’ve also figured out a way to get you guys some Chung problems; just PM me your email address if you still want some.

I got an 800 on the official CB one that I took before my first attempt. From what I saw, the released exam is much easier in comparison to the actual

Aw shucks. Then, I should be worried for tomorrow. Ugh. Been scoring really low in my past 3 Practice Tests.

I registered for the SAT Subjects in Physics and Mathematics 2C. I also selected the universities which would achieve my scores since they wanted to be selected as score recipients in advance. I had my previous scores 780 on Mathematics 2C and 650 on Physics. I studied a lot for physics and not very much for mathematics. Now I feel better in Physics, but badly in Mathematics. I want to cancel only the Mathematics scores in advance, but i cant since they are automatically send both from collegeboard.

How do I find a solution? Please I’m feeling very bad.

I decided not to let Chung scare me the last min.
Good luck everyone!

BOBO27, I think you can still cancel. but I’m not sure. call CB to find out. One of my friends canceled one of her SAT subject right after he took it. He also asked for the scores to send to colleges. Since he canceled it, nothing happened. But I think you need to cancel before the test, or withing a day after it.

BOBO27, I think if your calculator malfunctions during the exam, you will be allowed to cancel the mathematics score only. Otherwise, you’ll have to cancel both. If you take physics first and the calculator malfunctions during math, then you’ll be able to cancel math. At least, I’m fairly certain.

If anyone wants a Chung practice exam, PM me your email address in the format someone@s.o.m.e.w.h.e.r.e.c.o.m

Good luck, guys.

Status update for myself: 760 on PR’s practice test. I want that 800 though

have you all done the practice problems on CB? [Math 2 - SAT Subject Test Math Level 2 Practice Questions](<a href=“The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board”>The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board)

Beginning a practice exam now.

Ugh. 700 on Barron’s. I need to push through.

I’m about to do that, @shmluza. thanks for reminding me.

Hawkace, the practice exam’s been sent.

Thanks. How are you doing on your tests? I’m about to take the final CB Math Level II test before I sleep. How did u guys do on your final CB test?

isn’t 700 on barrons fine?

Don’t stress, dude.

I took one CB MLevelII test. It seemed much easier than Barrons - let us hope the real exam is similar.

Right now, I’m revising/cramming for bio.

700 on barron’s is not that good imo. Good luck on bio. Bio is pretty hard.

CC has a bunch of stories about how barons 650 was enough :-/

Honestly I think it’s just how well you ‘get’ the stuff, you know.

Bio is just memorization of random crap :-/ But thanks. Gl to you too!

Hey guys! I will also be taking the test tomorrow and I’m freaked out right now! I really hope for a 800 and will be praying for all of you. BTW i got a 680 on Dr Chung Test 7… TT_TT and a 680 on Barron’s Test 4. (These two I took today)
Just a question, I never finished any of my tests that I’ve taken on these two books (more blanks on Barron’s) so I was just wondering if the real test is this hard. Thanks(:

I took December and the real test is supposed to be easier than the barrond book but december was difficult and very similar yo barrons.i used to skip a lot on barrons and I scores low 700s and it was similar to how I did on the real test… I think u will be finee for tmrw since its supposed to be easier than december but I suggest u work on the questions u spend a lot of time on because time is a struggle…good luck

790 on the second barron’s practice test! i made like 3 careless mistakes though lol
also there was one answer that barron’s screwed up in the answer key like they put the wrong letter but had the write number tsk tsk

freaking out because my ticket won’t print um :(

okay i fixed it thank god
my selfie looks like a mug shot hah

good luck everyone!
