Should I retake the new one?
@therealthing absolutely no need. After 2200, colleges won’t look at your SAT scores, they’ll know that you’re smart enough.

@peacenepal Only if you’re confident that you can go higher. Contrary to popular supposition, I’d recommend the ACT instead since the new SAT might be a bit of a gamble.
How do you see the essay score? How come I only see the writing score, which is 770?
I totally don’t know that act thing.Would that be wise to take act?
I tried some ACT sample tests and I really like the test. It’s much more easier than the SAT.
@peacenepal I live in India where no one really ends up with a decent SAT score. The first time I took it, I took it with no prep and got 2070. I then decided to prep for two weeks and then took it in January, this time scoring a 2240. Now that the pattern has changed and I am still somehwat not satisfied with my score, everyone I’ve talked to says that the new SAT is a gamble. The ACT is your safer option and is more straightforward than the SAT.
@therealthing 2240 is awesome. It’s less than useless to write it again. Don’t be dissatisfied. The first time I wrote it I got 1890 and over the next two tries I bumped it up to 2320. @bsdsj22 the ACT’s reading section is a tad easier and math section is more straightforward and a little harder. The biggest difficulties in ACT is time management and the science section.
I have not received my scores. My page says Jan 23 test is “a complete registration” rather than “scores not available”. I am so worried. Please help.
I only got two questions wrong on the math section and got a 750… Is that normal?

1 wrong is 770
I got -3 = 710 in Math.
@marvin100 Curve isn’t the same for international students, as I suspected. -1 for US was 780 while for international it’s 770.
Is the score report out already? What are the CR curve and the writing curve like? My score was delayed so am being eager to know about the curves
