What do you guys think about the essay? I wrote an intro and three body paragraphs but no conclusion. Ended up with about two full pages. How much do you think having no conclusion will affect my score? My AP Lang teacher told me not to write conclusions for RAs rip.
@Rovotic imo, not having a conclusion shouldn’t affect your score very much (unless you’re aiming for a 4 in writing…then I wouldn’t know). I was told a similar thing–we shouldn’t worry about the conclusion. This essay was kinda funky if you ask me. I couldn’t really pinpoint rhetorical devices when I was writing my essay (then again, I was trying not to die).
@AthenaBird I put “Both of Whom”. I think I am sure it is correct.
I have accepted my fate…I essentially failed the reading and writing based on this forum. I feel like I’m about to collapse.

What’s the estimated score for -11 Reading, -6 to 8 Writing, and -2 Math? I should cancel if my score is like this, right?

@1618dz I believe that is still a good score. Maybe 340+330=670 EBR&W and 780 for Math… What do you want?
I have a gut feeling that my reading and writing are also gonna be bad after reading Reddit…
Are the Reddit answers for math definitely right??
@DreamComeTrue99 Are you sure it could be that? I’m worried if I might get a bit more wrong, but I’m praying for a good curve. Probably not a good math curve…maybe a better writing curve…possibly a good reading curve? This is really affecting my health.

I’m praying that I didn’t make stupid mistakes. Either I’ll get a good score or I’ll get completely destroyed…
@1618dz I totally know how you feel!!! After looking up the math answers, I know I got more than I feel comfortable wrong as well :(. And I still am beating myself over it. This was my last chance to take the SAT, and I just blew it… However, worrying about it now will only make you feel worse. Also you never know, maybe you’ll get a pleasant surprise when the scores come out! What I’m trying to say is: don’t let it get to you. You don’t want to be agonizing for almost a month based on this score - it could affect your performance on other aspects of your life. I hope you’re feeling a bit better now!
