** January 21, 2017 SAT (US)

@AthenaBird Are you kidding me? You will get destroyed by a couple of questions wrong?!? I feel like I got way more wrong! I lost almost all hope in living. There’s no point anymore . . .

Based off the likely curve for reading, writing, and math, @1618dz, if you missed 11 reading and 8 writing so 620 on reading and writing and you missed two on math so 780 then you can still get a 1400 - not bad for one SAT. This is worse case scenario of course. I say it’s reasonably likely you didn’t miss 11 on reading as answers are all subjective at this point. Math answers are all but confirmed and considering you only missed two I think you’re in good shape and definitely should not cancel. The true worst case scenario is you making a really great SAT score but cancelled due to unconfirmed fears.

@1618dz If you find out you didn’t get what you wanted in a month and you want a 1500+ there’s no shame in retaking it. Since you did really well on math you can superscore it and focus on reading/writing for the march test. The worst thing you can do rn is cancel due to what others are saying about reading. If you missed 15+ for math for sure then yeah maybe that would be smart but in your case I can’t see any reason to not tough out the wait for score releases.

after reviewing reddit, i realized i put melodramatic, not informal. i think because the language itself still sounded kind of advanced “meander” but it really dramatized the fly’s upcoming doom

Can someone post a link to the reddit reading questions?

@1618dz I think my prediction is pretty accurate.

MODERATOR’S NOTE:

Nope; violates Terms of Service.

Wow. You can freely talk about SAT questions, but not ACT?

650 on ecr 540 math

Nervous now!! Results in 2 days. This is my first time so I’m super not hype.

1 day left

Scores are up! My daughter got a 1560 (790 Reading and 770 Math) in her first attempt. Unfortunately, we accidentally signed up for the one without writing. I honestly have no idea how we checked the wrong box. So, she will have to retake (ugh!) :(( Her report isn’t available yet- just the scores.

@caspiancat How many incorrect did your daughter get in math and reading?

Report is up now. She missed 1 on Reading and 6 on Math. Amazed the score was that high on math with 6 missed.

Adding some detail, on Reading and Writing she got a 39/40 on Reading and a 40/40 on Writing.

1520
790 Math (3 wrong)
730 R/W (5 wrong reading/3 wrong writing)

SORRY I MEANT I GOT 2 WRONG IN WRITING MY BAD

I did really awful and horribly messed up.
1250
670 reading (I’m really disappointed. Reading is my strongest)
580 math (Not too surprised in that it is a lower score, but was expecting over 600.)

I missed like 7 questions for reading, 10 for math.

This score really disappoints because the practice tests I took projected me 1400+

1490, 760 ERBW, 730M.

1 wrong on reading, 3 wrong on writing, 9 wrong on math.
