<p>My friend has a 2.1 GPA and hasn't taken the SAT yet. He's a senior. Actually, he got a speeding ticket on the way to the November testing and showed up late. Consequently, he couldn't take the test then. Registration for the December test date is over.</p>

<p>Is there anything he can do to notify colleges he's applying to about his situation? If he takes the SAT he's likely to get above a 1500. So, he'll have a good chance at some local 4 year colleges like Radford and George Mason (Northern Virginia). </p>

<p>Basically, what can he do about this situation? I remember at an old SAT testing date I think you could sign up at the test center to take the test on the day of the test at some desk. Would that be possible for the December test? Thanks.</p>

<p>i dont know about for the sat but for the psat my school let students who didnt sign up in time come on the saturday and they could take the spots of students who didnt show up. he should ask a counselor or something though because psat registered in guidance sat online</p>
