I'm not really sure what classes Im going to be taking for spring quarter because I dont know what GE class ill be taking and if i can even get into my physics class. Does it make a difference on my app if I just put Physics 6B as the only class ill be taking spring quarter? I have no idea which classes will be open at my enrollment time and theres no way i can tell what classes ill be taking until the end of march.

Even if you don’t know just make your best educated guess on which classes you might take even if they do change. I wouldn’t advise only putting 1 class as planned

yea i really dont wanna keep my planned list for spring as only 1 class, but i literally have no way to find any the classes open for spring to put on the list. im just wondering if it would really hurt my application for me to put 1 class and 1 lab. Also do you think i should just add a class and put in General Education Class as the class title or something?

When I applied I only needed two more classes for spring quarter, so I just put an elective, non-articulated class in my major department down. When spring quarter came around and it wasn’t offered, I just took a different elective class in my major and there wasn’t an issue. I still got into UCSC, UCI, UCSB, UCLA, and UCB. I would have saved myself the effort had I just looked through past schedules, mind you… I asked the instructor later and what I wanted to take was not a class my community college usually offered for spring quarter.

So make an educated guess. I would check which classes were offered during the last few spring quarters at your college/university and try to pick something that seems to always be offered, or at least usually offered in spring. If you’re thinking GE… most colleges always offer classes like introductory psychology, sociology, philosophy, etc. I wouldn’t worry about needing to change your planned courses. I did it and there was no problem. As long as you meet your requirements, I reckon it’s fine. Good luck!

Look for the spring quarter/semester schedule last year, they should be similar :)

Thanks, ill try to look through all the course schedules for my GEs and try to find some classes that might be offered in spring.

Incase im accepted somewhere, i just dont want to be rescinded because I put down 1 history class and didnt get in and had to take another history class instead haha
