Coconut1812, i did exactly the same thing, jumped up and down in my house for 5 minutes until i read the letter and realized i was a jprog, originally i was a little disappointed but now im really excited!

How many of you accepted Jprog? S has not made up his mind. He wants to be a science major and eventually wants to be an attorney. He is quite interested in the state University- University of Wyoming. Many kids from his school go there. I think he is trying to figure out his major. His other option is Carleton. He decided not to go to Colorado College.

D enrolled in Jprog and will be attending the summer program @ WUSTL and studying abroad in the fall. It was a tough decision between Jprog, Emory, USC, U Michigan and Colgate, but at the end of the day, Washington University is where she wants to be. Bumper sticker’s on the car!

Can those who were accepted as JProgs post your stats? As in your gpa, SAT/ACT scores, ECs, etc.?

Any Science majors among Jprogs and any ideas on what you might be doing in Fall of 2010? beyondwords- Congratulations to D and to you!

yeah i was deciding between WashU, umich and cornell. I chose Washu because it is the best fit for me. I’m going to be doing the summer program as well as study abroad. When I visited i met up with other Jprogs. Let me just say that they are obsessed with being JProgs. They absolutely love it. Apparently there is a lot of jprog pride in the school, because the kids that are chosen to be Jprogs are socially/academically mature enough to do it.

i’ve committed to being a Jprog and I am incredibly happy about it. It took me a while to get excited, but after the initial shock, I am so ready! I will be doing FSAP and then I will be trying to get a business internship during fall and possibly take some online classes. I can’t wait!!! I was choosing between this and Emory and I realized that WashU was the best school for me and now I have an opportunity that not many people have and it will be unique to me which is pretty awesome. I will have a five week semester in summer and I will live off that high until January and have an even more amazing time! I think if someone loves WashU this should definetly not stop them and coming from me (it took me FOREVER to make up my mind) it means a lot.
