January SAT 2

Does Columbia accept Sat 2's from the January test date?

I have taken the necessary 2 but I did not do as well as planned. I am considering taking two more in January? Will Columbia accept those?

doubt it...they'll start reviewing apps by then, and they don't want rushed scores..

Actually my suggestion is to take them and when you submit the app, let them know that you're still taking some in January. If they accept it they accept it, if they don't, you don't really lose anything, cept the money for the SAT.

Good advice.

Thanks for the help.

How do I go about letting them know?

In the additional comments area?

uh there, or a simple note written by you and mail it along with the transcript from your school. Whatever you think will work best basically.

Thanks for the help

np, its my pleasure

I received a 680 on math 1 and on U.S. History.

I believe this is considered low for Columbia. Say that Columbia will accept the January scores. Do you guys reccommend I take two more?

yea, it might be worth it
there's no guarantee that the scores will reach them in time for consideration, but if u do better and they're seen, it could be worth it

columbia accepts scores from sat 2's in january. however, there is no guarantee that they'll get your scores on time. but i think that if you put down that youre taking sat 2's in january in the additional information section in your application then I think you will be fine. the scores should get into columbia by the end of president's week.
