The school counselors recommends students in their junior to take their first SAT in December/January. I just had a talk with my counselor recently, and he said I should take the January one. The deadline to sign up is December 5th. I'm not really sure if I should take it or not. The last SAT practice I took was about 1 year ago and I scored a 1900 (best so far). I haven't taken a SAT course since. Nor have I studied for the SAT specifically that much in the last year (Just some vocab stuff) Exams are next week and the week after that, so I can't study for the SAT now(too little time). So after exams I have about 4 weeks to study for the SAT (specifically) and 3 weeks to balance that with school, life, etc. I currently have the barron's 2400 book, the official guide, and some additional textbook/vocab from last year's SAT course that I took. So my question is, should I take it? My goal is in the 2200-2400 range, is that possible?

ps. I have additional review hours in the SAT course area. It's around 24-48 hours spread for 1-2weeks I think... (So that'l help I think)
