Here we go,
Took the test in December and got a 630. I was orignially predicted at a 540. I sort of skipped precalculus.
Anyway, took a test yesterday and I’m now predicted at a 760, should be able to get that to an 800 with some more refinement this week.
What about you guys?
Bump
Will be taking for first and last time this Saturday. Only got one chance at this, hope it goes well
How are you guys feeling for it?
Going through sparknotes at the minute.
Anyone know of all the intersections we need to know like a cube with a plane etc?
Best guide to go through and what to do at this stage?
Good luck.
Anyone doing this in England?
Good stuff, any tips for the geometry questions in the practice tests they seem to be the only ones that trip me up mostly.
Ah thats good.
So is princeton review more like CB. Could we get a test as hard as barrons or chungs?
@ypmagic
That’s kind of reassuring but knowing our luck, we will get a monster paper.
Is there anything you would recommend doing at this late stage for saturday now?
Thanks for the advice I will try that
Good luck!
I’m using barons and chungs and man, those tests are hard.
My highest score was a 770 on barons but I took more than 1 hour to finish the test.
I am aiming for a 800 by the way.
Do you guys know how easier is the actual test in comparison to the ones on these books? Do you think that a 750 on barrons may translate to a 800 on the actual one?
Are there a lot of questions on conic sections on the actual exam?
Taking this in England tomorrow.
Good luck guys!
Was only able to answer 33 out of the 50, is that bad? Probs 2 wrong’ish
It seemed a lil bit harder than usual, did anyone find the same?
I didnt answer the ice cream question, finding arc length of a circle in a graph, one of the must be could be questions, the 3d and plane questions, and 2 probability questions(sided cube or something and numbers in between 4/3)
overall tho, do you think ill get lucky with a good curve and hit 700+?
It was way harder than the 2 practice tests I took yesterday
@ypmagic
Yeah time constraint was a huuuge problem for this test. I was panicking a ton hahaha. I honestly still have no clue how to solve that question
Are you sure 43 raw score is the absolute best possible curve?
Also there was a must be could be question:
5^xy < 0
was the answer xy < 0? I think that’s what I put.
Wow. It was hard AF. I gave 30 practice tests, got 780+ in all of them. Today the paper was SUPER HARD. Like, harder than Barrons I suppose. I attempted all, expecting 10-15 wrong. I hope its a 700+ I suppose its gonna be A VERY GOOD curve. MUCH harder than the previous and the previous year. WHY ME GOD :’( I worked hard for this, people work half as hard and get a 800. I cri every time!
DONT PUT QUSTIONS HERE. people in the west still haven’t given it… Its illegal.
Absolute
Monster
Paper
Level 1 was good though.
x
@ypmagic
I would suspect that the curve would be lower than usual. If the majority of CC found it difficult and CC is ahead of the average test taker then maybe the 800 curve could go as low as 42-43.
Inbox if you want, allow these merican kunts cheating plus the curve could increase.
Will you retake if you don’t get 800?
@ypmagic
So do I will have to see though.
Well the official collegeboard tests were 800 and they were a lot easier than this one today. The test wasn’t impossible, but I think it could. Do Collegeboard release grade boundaries?
@ypmagic
Ah right I see, thanks for the info.
I left 4 blank.
I’m pretty confident with most of my answers tho…
Praying for at least a 760. (I’m a senior so this was my last SAT)
so
