Hello everybody. :)
I'm planning on taking the SAT Subject Tests in December, and the SAT Reasoning Test in January. Will my Jan SAT scores be considered by colleges?
These are the colleges I'm applying to: (All reaches, yes. This is not a chance/college search forum so please don't advise me on adding more safeties etc etc.)
Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Penn, Cornell, Stanford, CMU, G'tech, UIUC, Columbia, Harvey Mudd.

I know I can call the admissions and check it up, but I don't really have the time to do that. So it'd be awesome if anyone who knows about this could tell me.
Is the JAN Sat score accepted by the colleges I mentioned and is it looked at as favorably as SAT exams on prior dates?

If you take the January SAT you have the option to rush the scores. It says on The College Board website that they will be sent electronically within 2 days .

Stanford and UIUC require all tests to be completed by Dec test date. I don’t know about CMU. The others accept Jan test but you better designate college as one to automatically receive Jan scores on your registration for the test so they are sent the moment they are released.

Note why aren’t you doing it the other way around – SAT in Dec and Sat IIs in Jan? If you do that you can still apply to Stanford and UIUC because Stanford does not require SAT IIs, it just recommends them, and UIUC neither requires nor uses SAT IIs for admission.

Thanks everyone!!

kobudnik, that’s just for Harvard! Every college has its own policies… Thanks anyways :)

ATLMOM13, will keep that in mind.

drusba, thanks for the suggestion. But from what I’ve heard, Stanford says that it doesn’t require Subject Tests, but its worthless applying to Stan without subject tests. It’s like a latent necessity. Also, I have taken the October SAT already. It’s just that I am not expecting a very high score. So I would send this score with my Dec Subject Test score, and rush my Jan scores as soon as they are here. Sounds okay? :/
