January SAT Score..shocked!

Hi guys, I just checked the collegeboard.com to see my JAN SAT Score.
Here's the score...:
CR 430
MT 530
WR 520

I was expecting to do a little better on Math and Critical Reading..
This is my first SAT, and I don't know when to take next one.
Is it a wise decision to take it in June? or should I just go to community college and transfer? The reason why I'm shocked is because the schools I want to apply are quite competitive (UVA, Villanova, Syracuse, Temple, etc.). My UW GPA is 3.3 and Weighted is 3.500. I have high EC activities, and good connections with teachers. What should I do?

Is it dumb to just go to comm. college? I really have no answer for myself at this point... And also, how should I prepare myself for next SAT?

hey it happens, I don’t think it’s dumb to go to comm colleges, I know lots of kids who went to that route. I say one more in June, then over the summer, take a Princeton Review class on SAT Prep, I did that and it helped me a lotttt. Then after the class take one more time at September. Or not take it at June and just take the class during summer and take it on September and October.

You can always go to the ACT route, lots of kids who arent getting good scores in SAT get good scores in ACT.

What I found helpful was just taking practice tests from the Blue Book and ALWAYS do the SAT Question of the Day and UNDERSTAND why the answer is what it is.
