January SAT Waiting Thread!

Less than five days! How are you all feeling?

NERVOUS!
I NEED to get my scores up!!! Especially CR… that last one was so bad
How are you guys staying preoccupied?

^Studying for school;) How do you think you scored?
I plan to stay up late Wednesday night / Thursday morning to wait for scores.

Do you know what time the scores are gonna be up?

For the SAT Subject Test scores in December, they were up at about 4~5am EST. (converted from my time zone)

Score-wise, I am expecting a 2150, with a superscore of 2210. But that’s probably too optimistic, so I’ll say… 2090, which is exactly what I got last time.

So nervous

I honestly have no idea what to expect. It’s my first SAT so my anxiety is manic.

I got a 2260 in October (dumb mistakes in M and W) but from what I’ve seen in the discussion threads here for the Jan SAT I’m looking at just -1 CR if I didn’t make any stupid mistakes. Fingers crossed.

What’s the most you think I can miss on writing MC to get a perfect score if I’m projecting a 9~10 essay? freaking out ><
hopefully my essay is 10+ but yeah

I’m quite nervous! : (

^Usually the trend goes that if you get a 12 on the essay, you’re allowed 2 mistakes. An 11 is allowed 1 and 10 has to have a perfect multiple choice section. The January writing section definitely wasn’t that rough so I’d say it’s something around there.

Which date do you guys think the curve would be around?

My anxiety is off the chart. It was my first SAT and nothing felt too brutal…but we’ll see.

20Summer08, it looks like that table is wrong given that I took the SAT in Jan 2012 and got a 740 in Math because I got two questions wrong - in other words, I had a raw score of 51/54 (because I didn’t omit any, so the half point I got off rounded up to a full point off my raw score) and got a 740, not a 720 like your table would predict in the 01/12 column for the Math section.

First (and hopefully last) SAT for me too. I was planning to retake in October, but now I realize that I REALLY don’t want to XD
Hopefully my score’s high enough not to retake…
I feel pretty confident about MC (-1 CR and -1 W, and maybe a couple of stupid mistakes), but I’m really worried about my essay…if I was the one grading, I would have given it 4/6.
@Summer: In my opinion, CR will be moderate, Writing will be harsh, and I can’t tell for Math.

Or maybe I had a different test?

@adissa: They round your raw score up, so 2 wrong would be 51.5 = 52/54

I’m more excited than anything…just want to see a good writing score and I’ll be happy! What time will the scores be released on thursday?
