so, what do you all think about the january sat? do you think its going to be the easiest since its the last (old) one, or do you think it will be the hardest? OR, do you think it will fall right in the middle?...just seeing what people think...i'm taking it, and im just hoping its the easiest, obviously

My guess is harder so that people won't see it as an easy way to avoid the more "rigorous" new SAT. But what do I know?

they're probably going to be more lackadaisical when it comes to compiling all of the questions...maybe just throwing together past tests...but we really don't know, can't make any predictions. but we can post what we hope to get :D.
750+ M (i can do this-just watch for dumb mistakes)
700 V

man im so ****ed off. i just took a practice sat. i got a 660 on the math. when i checked all the questions i got wrong, they were all stupid mistakes and i could have gotten a perfect. those dumb mistakes always getme.
anyways i'll probably get:
750+ on verbal
and just like doesnotexist im aiminf for a 750+ and i just have to watch for dumb mistakes.

took dec. sat, was almost positive i got a 780, turned out i got a 690, so im getting it hand scored, but im taking jan. sat anyway, so i guess im hoping for:
770+ Math
660+ Verbal (I know...it's sad)

same here sat. verbal ****es me off...i hate critical reading! it's my downfall! i understand everything..but the questions trip me up. A lot of them are completely subjective and opinionated!

for the New SAT in march will learning word lists be less important?

Just keep in mind, the SAT is NEVER "easier"...if the test itself is easier, then the curve will just be harsher, and your score will turn out about the same as you'd have on a harder test.

with your way, then nobody would ever improve on their scores...

sat908, are you talking to me? If so, I think you misunderstand me...I meant, an easier SAT does not equal a better score for the test-taker. That doesn't mean you can't improve your scores...
