Japanese Language at Another College

I was wondering has anyone taken Japanese language classes at another college in Pittsburgh or near Pittsburgh area? How do you find it? I'm at 2nd part of first year and want to take a break from it but each is not offered that "often". All I mean is, for example, Part 1 of any year is only offered in Fall & Part 2 of any year is only offered in Spring. So I was thinking, if I miss one part I can still take a class during the summer in another college instead of having to wait 2 terms.

Check and see if CCAC (the local community college) offers it. My guess would be they do.

Pitt offers an intensive summer Japanese program where you can complete your entire year of language in the summer. It is not much fun. There is scholarship money available. The Japanese department at Pitt is a bit on the fussy side, so you may want to check whose credits it will take. If I am remembering correctly, DD could not transfer in community college credits after she had 30 Pitt credits. Just check everything beforehand.

Ya, I just checked and I definitely can’t transfer anymore credit from a community college. I think I should just focus on my Neuroscience & Biology classes. I’m having graded classes everyday and they’re taking more and more of my time than I’d imagined at first. Thanks for the feedbacks, anyway.
