<p>I got into umiami umichigan and umass as a jazz major, just wanting to see some input on how these music schools rank and about other jazz music majors</p>
<p>In our research on jazz programs, we found UMiami to be highly regarded. We had an opportunity to hear an ensemble perform at the IAJE conference and they were wonderful. I do not know much about the other two programs, although I hear many more good things about the jazz program at Michigan State than at UMich. My son is a jazz major; however his college choices centered primarily on the New York and Chicago areas.</p>
