Didn’t see a post for this yet so thought I should start one.
When are admissions decisions coming out?
My DD applied. They were pretty vague about when decisions are coming out. They just said Spring. Anyone care to share your stats? GPA, Journalism experience, if you sent a video or writing sample, etc. . .
Admissions decisions were out by this time last year…

Last year they came out a month after applications were due, so I would expect them around April 16th.
@TheMochi @nw2this Do you guys remember if they asked us to report ACT/SAT scores?

@soccergirl36 @nw2this congratz! I received mine as well. If you haven’t received one, don’t worry yet, I don’t think official decisions have been posted on their website yet.
BTW, they didn’t ask for test scores, but sometimes test scores are on your transcripts with your grades. My DD’s Tcaps were the only scores on her transcript because she hasn’t taken ACT/SAT yet.

My DD is in 10th grade. She applied for a paid internship at our local science museum but she hasn’t heard back yet and she is also doing soccer camp.
Last year she did Adcamp (http://membership.aaf.org/adcamp). They are still accepting applications if you are interested. They offer scholarships for participation but not travel and housing. It was great, I’m surprised its not more competitive.
@TheMochi I’m in 11th (rising 12th). None of the other camps I applied to are related to Journalism, but I’m doing SCAD Summer Seminars (Art) , SCAD Rising Star (Art), Oxbridge Academic Programs (this program allows you to select major/minors in which Journalism is an option), Notre Dame Leadership Seminars, Best Delegate Institute (Model UN/Debate). It’s too late to apply for any of these, but you should try next year. What grade are you in?
SCAD and Oxbridge offer scholarships, Notre Dame is free and covers transportation, a Best Delegate does not offer scholarships
