Hi everyone! Does anyone on here have experience with completing an undergraduate degree in the business school and then using the presidential scholarship to begin to study the UA Law School. It is my understanding the presidential scholarship covers 5 years of tuition? Can this be used to begin at the law school? Also how does this work if a student completes their undergrad in 3 years but wants to begin a graduate degree? Does the Presidential carry over?
I’m pretty sure it does but better ask @mom2collegekids to be sure…
To the best of my knowledge, the Presidential Scholarship only covers 8 semesters, which I believe equal 4 years of education.
However, if you’re a NMF, you get that 5th year tuition, given that you start your higher education at the nearest available semester.
Actually, I’m quite sure about this as it is explicitly stated in my scholarship letter.
^sorry - poster above is right - NMF is 10 semesters, but Presidential is 8.
However, I believe Presidential allows you to use the extra 2 semesters for grad or law school in the event that you only use 6 semesters (graduate in 3 yrs).
