Who's heard of it?
Is this a worthwhile school?

I just recieved one of those preferred application's from them saying all i have to do is fill out some forms and submit them by a certain date and i'll get priority consideration for finaid and an admissions decision in 3 weeks. So, is it worth it? Btw, the application is free.

no one will make you attend if you make it, but it's going to be good to know for sure that you have a school to go to pretty early, so you can worry less about the rest of the process

W&J is a LOVELY college in a small town, which is only a short drive to Pittsburgh. People are friendly, housing was decent and the food was great. Very homey. It reportedly has a very good placement rate into law and med schools. There is substantial financial aid available to qualified students. W&J seemed like a school where you would be very much considered as an individual.

My son was interested, but ended up choosing a larger university because we had a couple of concerns. First, the engineering program is a 3-2 program, which has some drawbacks. Also, since it is only an undergraduate school, my already fluent son would have run out of foreign language classes before graduation. The only other think that bothered me was how quiet it was on the weekend we visited...I'm not sure if everybody was sleeping, at some activitiy, or home for the weekend. But overall, we really liked W&J.

I know someone with a daughter (now an attorney) who went there and loved it. From what I understand, their success rate for law and medical school admissions is good.
