My child is waiting to see whether he has advanced to the second round of interviews. However, he does know that he has a major conflict with the date of the second round interviews. It is the day of an all day state competition in which he is participating with a team as team captain. If he does not participate the team will have to withdraw. Has anyone run into this issue before? How flexible are the interview dates?
I know in Baltimore they said they had no flexibility. Sorry. That stinks for your son.
Hopefully our region is more flexible! It is a major state wide competition involving over 100 high schools and lots of people so it is possible that he is not the only one with a conflict.
@UVAmom23 Maybe he could Skype interview from the car or something if they can’t reschedule? I know in the past when weather was bad here they offered that as an option.
@LoyolaMD91 he is out of the Jefferson competition so it is no longer an issue?. Into UVA but without merit he is likely out. He is also in Georgia Tech and wants to be an engineer. Loves the school and wants to be an urban environment since he has grown up in a college town.We are in state so that is hard to turn down!
