Thank you very much!

All of the schools you have listed are reaches for everyone. However, your resume shows your passion for science which is a strong attribute. You have built an impressive resume! Best of Luck!

I think you already know the answer. Your are in the mix for all those schools. With strong essay’s I’d expect you have as good a chance as anyone. Good Luck.

You just can’t pin all hopes on “reaches-for-anyone”; you ought to have a safety, even with a file like that.

Catria is correct. You should apply to at least 2-3 Match/Safeties. The schools you’re applying to have acceptance rates of approx. 6-18%. It’s amazing to read the decision threads and see top quality applicants like you get denied at the top schools.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I have already been accepted to Michigan - Ann Arbor Early Action and University of Nebraska at Lincoln as my two backups.

i think you have a great chance, but the essays are the most important. hopefully you stressed a passion for engineering and business in that M&T essay. also, because you applied to M&T, you’re likely to get an interviewer. if there’s no alumni interviewer around, you’re likely to get a skype interview, so you have one more outlet to stress your passion for engineering and business.

Your state might give you some advantage at some of the schools.

You got accepted to Michigan and Nebraska…two GREAT schools and although not IVY league are #1 choices for many. UPENN M&T is great but VERY HARD to get into. Even harder to stay in and they expect you to live in the quad with the other M&Ts. The social envion is better at BLUE and super conservative at UPENN. Plus… West Philly is D-a-n-g-e-r-o-u-s! The low lifes walk all around the campus and are the same people they hire for security (and their lousy food service)!! Consider staying in mid-west!!

Thanks for the advice pstrett!

What would my chances for Northwestern University and Carnegie Mellon be?

NWU: Reach
CMU: High match

Thank you!

Bumpity bump

You have a fantastic resume. You definitely have a chance at all of the schools you listed. If you had good essays and good interviews, you should probably get into at least one of those schools. But its a crapshoot for everyone, so don’t expect too much.

Damn, you’ve got a load going on. I can’t actually find a weakness. Assuming you aced your essays I think your chances are great. If I were a betting man I’d have a few dollars riding on you to get into most of those.

I think you have a great shot at every one of those schools. I’d also say that UPenn is a definite. Good luck!

About to hear back from colleges soon. Nervous. What do others think the outcome will be?

There is no weak point in your application. You should be able to get into Carnegie Mellon and other colleges like that. I have a feeling you will get into where you wanted.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts!
