<p>Season 2 starts tonight and even though I watched Season 1 and had fun with my friends watching it (playing the Jersey Shore drinking game lol), I don't think I'll be tuning in. Thinking about it, I'm just watching and making a big deal out of the trash that MTV continues to put out.What do you think about Jersey Shore?</p>
<p>It’s a guilty pleasure of mine. I don’t watch anything else on MTV, though. While Jersey Shore is definitely trashy, at least it’s not yet another celebrity dating series like Rock of Love or the new Ochocinco thing. The only thing that really ever annoyed me about Jersey Shore were the assumptions of people who had seen it who suddenly began thinking everyone in NJ is a guido/guidette. I’m from NJ and don’t know any guidos or guidettes</p>
<p>It’s alright. As a New Jersey resident I’m not a big fan of the image they are projecting, but the show passes time. 
New Jersey isn’t that trashy except for Seaside, and maybe a couple of other parts. :P</p>
<p>I’m Italian-American from Long Island, NY (which is just as “guido” as Seaside… sometimes more so) and I love it. I’m not offended because I know people who act like this. My friends and I are sitting together, as I type, laughing over Snooki at our “Jersey Shore Premiere Party.” And no, we’re not embarrassed about it. :P</p>
<p>The people in that show are trashy and fake and give off bad vibes. I hate the show and I know there are some stupid people that act like that. No disrespect to New Jersey or anything but I think that show is so trashy and the people on it should be embarassed by their actions.</p>
<p>The only reason to watch it is to laugh and make fun of them. I do that with my friends:P</p>

<p>I find it amusing, especially since my cousins and grandmother live at the Jersey Shore year-round (Cape May and Stone Harbor), and whenever I go to visit them, my friends all think that there’s a chance I’ll run into Snooki.</p>
<p>Of course, I’ve only ever watched it once - at the same cousin’s house - to make fun of it, but still…it’s entertaining, to say the least.</p>

<p>Think the show itself is hilarious and I do enjoy watching it oftentimes. However I feel like it makes me a dumber person watching it haha, furthermore I would absolutely hate to live their lifestyle or be anything like those idiots.</p>
<p>Unfortunately it’s a guilty pleaure, akin reading the New York Post, but I do feel like I’m losing a few brain cells with each episode.</p>
<p>What do you guys think of KoreaTown (KTown), the next Asian Jersey Shore? Last week they just filmed the pilot episode. I think the casting of KTown is way much sexier than the original Jersey Shore. I hope this show airs, it’ll also be one of my guilty pleasures. But, it’ll also have plenty of negative criticism such as ruining the image of Asian Americans, LOL. I don’t care about that. It’s a trashy show such as the Jersey Shore. But will this show put Asian on mainstream even though it’s a show like this? </p>
