I got into UT a few months ago but I don't know if I will be going (depends on the affordability of the other colleges I applied to) until April 1st.

If I go to UT I'd like to get a dorm in Jester with the connective bathrooms/whatever is not a community bathroom.

My question is, do these run out fast? Will I have enough time assuming I make my choice of college ASAP?

Community bathrooms really aren’t bad at all, they get cleaned every day and you don’t have to worry about running out of soap/tp. And if you get bad suite-mates for your connecting bath you will be royally screwed. So don’t worry if you end up getting a community bath.

swammeyjoe is completely right. The negative reputation of community bathrooms is undeserved. It’s something you’ll get used to very quickly.

and, in response to
I’ll repeat this again. The time when you pay the $50 housing application fee is the time that will be used to assign your housing preference. Once you’ve submitted that, you can take your time on everything else (like enrolling at UT) without worry.
