Jester for Engineering major?

I want to live in Jester next year and I'm studying Chem E.
I will be coming in with a lot of credits so I will most likely be taking engineering courses freshman year.

Is living in Jester okay? Or is it too far?

Do many engineering majors live here?

Thanks for the help!

Everyone lives in Jester, including engineers. It’ll be about a 10 minute walk to CPE (the chemE building). Duren may be a bit closer, but it’s too little of a difference to make it a deciding factor.

I’d go with Jester though. I lived there freshmen year as a EE and loved it.

Awesome. I’m going to put it as my first choice then!

I’m a second year CHE and I love living in Jester. It’s close to food and the gym, it’s fairly quiet on the floors so studying is painless, and it’s a good distance away from CPE (so I don’t feel like I live in CPE, haha).
