jesuit high school

I know that Georgetown is a Jesuit school, so does it really help if I go to a very competitive Jesuit College Prep? I'm guessing it might be something that would push me over the edge if I'm equal with another applicant, but I'm not completely sure. Thanks for anything you guys might have to say!

All my friends who went to Jesuit high schools here in Cleveland got into their first choice of Jesuit colleges (BC, G-town, Xaiver, etc.) So YES it does give you an advantage.

My son graduated from a Jesuit High School and is at Georgetown now. My impression was that the Jesuit high school seemed to remove some of the oddities from Georgetown admissions. Georgetown is known to reject some very well qualified applicants (1600 SATs, etc), but at my sons school applicants that were at Georgetowns average stats or above all seemed to be accepted. His high school typically has 5-7 admits each year and send 2-3.
