I am going to be going to Tulane next year and Greek life interests me a lot. My dad says his biggest regret from college is not joining a frat (he's not jewish). The thing is, I was raised jewish and although I am not religious in any way (I am actually kind of anti religion), could this hinder my joining a frat?

Good Lord, no. I say it that way for emphasis, not that it was a silly question. There was a time when it would have made a difference at many schools (although not Tulane, at least not in anything resembling recent history). You will be absolutely fine at Tulane no matter if you are Jewish, part-Jewish, non-Jewish, or Jewish on alternate weekends. Just be yourself and enjoy it there.

You may want to look into sigma alpha mu and alpha epsilon pi, both are historically Jewish fraternities, but one does not have to be Jewish to join. “Sammy” I believe, is one of the larger, and according to S2, one of the most fun fraternities on campus.
