<p>my dorm is right next to the hillel center. It's a nice building, thats all I know</p>

<p>I visited the Hillel. IT's an active place. I met a bunch of Hillel members and someone from the Jewish frat. People were very friendlyl and I was invited to a sporting event. Seems like a close knit group even though only 4% are Jewish.</p>
<p>The Jewish population at UNC is small but the Hillel is dynamic, with a lovely new building and lots going on. The students started a Jewish a cappella singing group this year. The local congregation is also very warm and welcoming to UNC students.</p>
