I am thrilled I got a scholarship!! My only concern is Jewish life, I know I am not in Chicago or New York, but having Jewish friends, being involved in a Jewish community is important to me. Can any Jewish students or graduates talk about their experiences? Thank you!!!!!

It looks like no one replied to you. You could likely get more information at http://www.sahillel.org/.

I too worry about Jewish life at Trinity… love the school
@TempeAZMom. I think you need to contact some of the locals. I am just a parent of a prospective Trinity student and not Jewish. We are also in Arizona and hope that our son selects Trinity.

Temple Beth-El, the oldest Synagogue in South Texas, is less than two miles from Trinity. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_Beth-El_(San_Antonio) http://www.beth-elsa.org/
Congregation Beth AM and Temple Chai are each about 4.5 miles away. http://bethamsatx.org/ http://www.templechaisa.org/
@TempeAZMom. I’m sure you know this, but just in cast, Trinity is not a religious school. It was Presbyterian until 1969, but has been private since.
You might also contact Kinsey Miller, who recruits Arizona for Trinity. She has been very helpful getting our questions answered. kmiller2@trinity.edu 1-800-TRINITY She just graduated in 2014, so she may be able to put you in contact with some current Jewish students.
Thank you for that information. My D decision is down to two quality schools. She is having a difficult time deciding. B
@TempeAZMom , not sure what the other choice of school is, but one factor that helped my S pick Trinity was the fantastic job market in Texas, and in the sun belt in general. We would like them to be gainfully employed at the end of this, no?
Good luck!
