<p>My son is interested in the University of Richmond. Can anyone tell me about Jewish life there? Are there any Jewish students? Is the Hillel active?</p>

<p>While I can't give you a first hand account, from walking around campus and whatnot it seems the Hillel is pretty active here. I see advertisements for their meetings and different events around the holidays. And yes there are a good number of Jewish students here, I'll talk to a couple of my friends and see if they would have anything to add.</p>
<p>I'm not sure how active Hillel was before I came to UR in Fall 06, but between my freshman year and my sophomore year, I've noticed that their presence on campus is growing. In fact, I'd say that awareness in general is growing, be it in the form of Hillel or other organizations, student activities, academic activities, etc.</p>
