Would appreciate any insight related to Jewish student life at Clemson; activities, clubs, services, etc. Thank you.
I’m also looking for Jewish life insight @ Clemson too @Darsdad. While I fully support a new experience outside of the Northeast bubble, my (online) research is showing very little information. Thank you for starting this conversation.
I was able to get the contact information for the student rep for Hillel, who contacted our daughter via email yesterday. We live in CT. What state are you from? Are you already admitted to Clemson?
We’re in Philadelphia. He has not yet received a decision from Clemson. He has already been accepted to Pitt and PSU, both of which have active Jewish student life and communities. He would go to Pitt tomorrow but, as I mentioned, we’ve committed to (at least) explore southern universities.
We visited Clemson in February and our daughter absolutely fell in love with the school. Beautiful campus, very (extremely) nice faculty, administration and student body. She is waiting to find out about Clemson. However, she is currently admitted to 6 schools and waiting to hear back from another six. She is considering going on Year Course in Israel as a gap year, but one school has told her that if she goes she will have to re-apply and would lose the scholarships they offered her. Clemson was at the top of her list for a long time, but the Jewish community is a big concern for her, and us. Do you have any sense as to what the actual student Jewish community is? Any insight as to when decisions are going to come out? And, what the current stats for admission look like? Thanks, in advance.
Hi,
I was curious about the same thing. My daughter was admitted in December and loves the campus. Would be interested to hear what you found out.
Give me a call and I will let you know what we learned. 203 952 6430.
Thank you! Will do
Hi, I have come across this thread and it sparked my interest. My name is Levi and I’m a Chabad Rabbi. I have numerous friends that lead Jewish groups and services on many college campuses. I’m currently doing research on the Jewish population in Clemson and exploring the idea of opening up a Jewish presence there.
If any of you have some insight or an interest in this possiblity, I’d be glad to know. Perhaps we can work out something together.
Thank you and all the best

Sounds as if your efforts might best be focused elsewhere. Doesn’t sound as if there’s any Jewish life on campus there.
