Jews at Georgetown

<p>I was curious to know if there are a lot of students at Georgetown who were Jewish. Moreover, does being Jewish help/hurt your chances in getting into Georgetown.....</p>

<p>I've met many. Heck, my room-mate is Jewish.</p>

<p>Hillel keeps stats on numbers of Jews enrolled at undergrad and grad levels, whether there are Jewish studies majors on campus, sometimes has a thumbnail descrip of the Hillel programs/activities</p>

<p>Nobody can say if it "helps" you or not to be Jewish for admission, but I'd say that a dynamic percentage is 20% of the population.</p>

<p>My friend who is a practicing Jew and very into his religion talked to the Rabbi at Gtown. He was very nervous about Georgetown but he said that after they talked that he really liked it and was not nervous of the Catholicness any more.</p>

<p>Haha hope that helped. </p>

<p>P.S. My Jewish friend got into Yale so he isn't apping to Gtown.</p>

<p>I know a dude whose jewish who got into GU with a 1820 SAT score. He had a 2 hour interview though.</p>
