JHU $10 Essay HELP!
I’ve been trying for 2 months to think on what to write but i just cant come up with anything can you guys tell me some ideas or those who applied tell me what you wrote about PLEASE!
<p>Well, you can start by thinking about what you'd actually want to do for an adventure...and see what aspects of it could cost $10. Just think of something that shows a bit about who you are - what you like to do, what you think is important, how you'd spend your time.</p>
<p>This is so easy--you can't think of what to do in 2 months! Please! I can think of so many things, but I really don't feel like dropping it in your lap. Why don't we help you brainstorm?</p>
<p>Think about yourself and where you live. Where do you live? What do you like to eat? Haven't you ever explored a place? a city? a bookstore? </p>
<p>Here are some examples of the JH essay. Don't be intimidated--these are likely the cream of the crop since they were published. They are really a lot of fun and color to read.</p>
<p>Another hint. You don't write by "thinking of writing"...you only write by actually sitting down and putting some crappy thoughts on paper, then editing and developing them into a workable form.</p>
<p>It should be "whom" would you take with you. Do not apply to a school that endorses lax grammar.</p>

<p>It says dollar 10 or rupees 458, You know how much you can do with the latter ? You could easily eat a 16 inch pizza at pizza hut go to a movie, then go to a cafe and spend the rest of you money there. There thats one day ! </p>

<p>No one said it is fair. Having more money to spend does not make for a better essay anyhow.</p>
<p>They essay isn't about money. It's about what you like to do and what kinds of things you value. The amount of money isn't what's important. How you choose to spend your time and dime is. The way you write the essay also is important.</p>
<p>my essay will be on giving a really special person in my life, someone who has changed my life dramatically a bouquet of flowers, different type of flowers each representing something different such as hope, gratefulness, affection etc as a way of thanking them for all they have done for me</p>

<p>spending an afternoon in a place other than LA where my best friend and i can see the night sky without all the pollution in LA</p>
