JHU and Subject Tests

I have taken only two subject tests--in Chemistry and U.S. History. However, from reading the college's website and their information session on campus, I was told that three subject tests are required. Will my chances for acceptance be severely hindered if I don't take a third subject test, although it is recommended?

I only took two subject tests and got in. It’s not necessary unless you do exceptionally well on the third and think it may improve your chances.

Thank you so much!

Can I ask your scores? my son got a 740 chemistry and 720 math, his gpa is 4.1 weighted and ACT superscored 30; math was 33. Good ECs, (eagle scout/varsity sports) but not exceptional. Have a gut sense of whether he should even bother to apply? He loved the campus! Are you happy there? We hear its quite competitive and a grind, but obviously, superb. Thanks in advance for any comments!
