Jhu bio chances??

I would love to attend JHU, but I feel applying for the bio major at this school decreasing acceptance chances...so chance me?

I have pretty average EC's. Only remarkable thing I've done is volunteer is a third world country's hospital.

Member of TARC
Volunteer
Tutor (inside and outside school)

My essay's are very personal to where I come from and how I was raised. I can attach if asked for it. Those who have read mine really liked them

I'm a foreign born, white female. (I was born and raised in Albania)

Applying as a bio major in no way decreases your chance for acceptance. Your chances would be the same whether you apply as a bio major or a history major or any other major, with the exception of BME.

^ Indeed. Even with BME, your chances only decrease for the BME program specifically, but you can still get accepted into the university while not the BME program itself.

Hmmmm ok thank you so much…but Where do my chances of getting accepted stand regardless?

^since none of us are admissions officers we obviously can’t say for sure. Probably like a low reach or high match.

Hopefully it’s one of those, do they heavily consider mid year reports?

Are mid year reports consider as well?
