Hey everyone, I have a quick question: if I was to apply ED to JHU and select Biomedical Engineering as my major, is there a possibility I get rejected from the major but accepted into the school. And would this mean i have to go to the school because i applied ED? Or is it not possible to get accepted ED without getting your accepted major as well, would they wait for RD to tell you if this was to occur? (because if I don't get into the specific bme part of JHU, I'd probably want to go to a different university with a bme program of similar level.)

There is a possibility that you will get into JHU, but not JHU BME for ED (as well as RD). I think (remembering from past research + friend who did apply ED), if you applied for BME ED and made the school but not BME, then it is not binding.

However, best to check to see if it’s on a readily available page on their website, and if not, to email them so you have something in writing.
