JHU BME major question

<p>Sorry, probably a noob question</p>

<p>Do you get admitted into the college first, then the bme major? If so, would I hurt my chances at all of getting admitted into JHU if I applied bme as a first choice as opposed to another major, say biology?</p>

<p>That said, here’s my usual boilerplate disclaimer: Make sure you know what BME is before you apply for the program. BME is not a special pre-med major and if you’re considering applying BME with your second major choice as Bio, then you should seriously consider whether you want to do BME. BME is a very math-intensive engineering program and you need to love math (and physics and chemistry to some degree) if you want to do well in BME.
