As far as essays and recs go, my recs should be good, ive known the teachers for a long time, and they both taught my AP courses this year, (BIO, USH).

My essays, as well, should be good, but only time will tell.

I was also awarded the Cornell Boook award at my school, i really dont know if that does anything for me (other than a pretty book).

I've visited the campus and attended an info session too and am getting an interview.

So what do you guys think my chances are ED in the Fall?
Thanks.

wow, no offense, but wat i wanna know is how ur 11/453 wit a 3.83 UW GPA.

woot! Power to the trombonists!

about the gpa. thats because a) my school's pretty tough, and b) rank is based on weighted gpa. so my weighted is a 5.9 something and the person ranked first is like 6.3 something. The way it works is for each ap course we get so many gpa points for whatever grade we get. so the rank is based on how well you do in difficult classes, as it is is most cases.

me thinks you have a good shot at JHU ED. Will you be applying to Johns Hopkins Peabody Institute too?... Good Luck :)

no im not applying to peabody also, though that is a big draw for me because i can take courses and such. thanks for the reply

bump anybody else? please? maybe?
and trombones rule
