JHU or Cornell?

I'm really bad at online researching, so could anyone give me their opinions?

I've been looking into summer programs for my summer into my Senior year, but now time is quickly catching up and I'll ahve to make a decision soon.

My brother went to JHU pre-college and he, myself, and my other brother have all attended JHU's CTY and CAA programs. My mom is really leaning toward that because of our familiarity with it. Heck, my brother even goes to JHU! But I don't want to make a decision because it's it's covienient.

JHU is, from what I;ve gathered, cheaper than most other pre-college programs. Unfortunately, it doesn't ahve classes that I really want to take. I want to take launguage courses and maybe something from left field to see how I like it. JHU can supply me with left feild, but the session I can attend doesn't supply level 1 courses.

Cornell on the other hand has a 6-week intensive introduction course for Latin. That really appeals to me, but I've never heard of Cornell's summer programs. Can anyone confirm it's credibility? I mean, I'm sure it's credible, but can anyone give me some thoughts? What they've heard? What is like compared to JHU's? How easy is it to get accepted (you can PM me for some basic stats)?

Thank you so very much.
