I have been accepted to JHU and UVA, along with a few other schools. I have narrowed it down to both of these schools. I come to the parents board seeking your great advice.

What I'm looking for
-Engineering degree (Not biomedical, probably systems or applied maths)
-Good placement into consulting/Wall Street jobs(not ibanking)

Everyone has told me JHU no brainer, as it has a stronger engineering department. But I'm concerned that everything takes a back seat to Biomedical Engineering/Premed at Johns Hopkins. Is that true? With a competitive environment and a large percentage students doing premed, I'm worried that there is a higher chance that I will not do well or enjoy my experience at JHU. However, I'm only basing these fears on myths and rumors, and perhaps JHU will provide me more opportunities than UVa.

If you have any information, experiences, or suggestions to help me make my decision, I would be more than grateful.
