is jhu still good for pre-med even if i didn't get into BME?

No, sorry, but without BME, you will never get into med school.

JHUery go back and join your other negative buddy haha, wgkak5 yes JHU is excellent for many programs most of all pre-med

lol alexphoto, I was hoping the sarcasm would make it obvious…I guess not :(

I knew it was sarcasm lol… never know how the original poster will take it though so I thought it best to make it clear :P

If you can get the cover letter from the pre-med committee, you’re golden.

Majoring in BME so you can go to med school is like climbing Mount Everest because you’d like to get some fresh air. As Tanman has noted 2/3 of BME don’t go to med school.

haha i love that analogy

is this even a serious question. jesus.

I’m accepted applicant and might go to JHU…
does JHU has lots of workload esp if one is pursuing pre-med?
to be honest, i don’t like studying all the time…

Honestly, I don’t study much. I put in <2 per day, usually. Although, tonight I’m gonna have to cram for a couple midterms, but whatever… **** happens.

Depends on how you want to do, straight As requires more than what I put in… for my Bs.

I just hear bad stories about JHU’s environment, but I know that most of them are just started by grumpy students. How hard would it be to get a cover letter from the pre-med committee? I know that the percentage of students who get into medical school is over 80% and the rest of them get in the year after they graduate. But is every pre-med students counted in there? Or did they just count those who were approved by the pre-med committee in the stats?
lol, love that analogy too

and every colleges did that way in their pre-med stats!
