JHU Transfers Thread.

<p>I got accepted!!! They sent the preliminary email out May 15th and I got the official package the 18th… However, I was denied from the BME dept… hmm… Mathematics it is I suppose! I’ve heard rumors that one cannot switch into the BME dept once denied. Is this true? and if so: Would they allow me to audit some classes anyways?</p>

<p>Also, I would be interested to know the details of how many people were accepted. AdmissionsDaniel can you give that information?</p>

<p>The BME program is only for students who are admitted directly into the major. Almost all BME students begin the program as they come in during their freshman year. Some years, the BME program will admit sophomore transfers into the major but that is a rare occassion. Opportunities for juniors and seniors to enter the BME program do not exist. <p>Snipez, it is possible for non-BME majors to take BME classes as long as you meet the prereqs (same as with any other department’s courses)</p>
