JHU vs Berkeley vs Cornell/So-cal?

Hey guys,
So now that acceptances have come out, I am in a huge dilemma into which school I want to go into for pre-med. I am 99% sure that I want to go into med. school, but I am having a tough time weighing the merits and fallbacks to each university.

My 2 biggest choices are Johns Hopkins (Biomedical Engineering) and UC Berkeley (BioE).
I have also gotten into UCLA, UCSD, and Cornell, and though they arent my top 2, I cannot rule them out :\

I live in the Bay Area and have worken hard to get into these schools. Which school should I choose, and why?? Are there any benefits to paying 10K more for a private than a public? And what are the percentages each school has to getting into Med. school??

Also any information regarding JHU PRE-MED would be wonderful as well!

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks :D

Is financial aid a problem? From your post, it seems that you did not receive adequate amount of aid from (I am guessing) Hopkins? Nevertheless, BME program at Hop is very competitive and I see no reason to turn it down unless you really see yourself fitting into Berkeley or other schools that you got into.

If you got into BME at Hopkins, you’d be nuts to go anywhere else. good luck!
