You need aid so I think you will get Aid at WUSTl
I say this b./cI knew someone who got into JHU, but got no AID and couldn’t attend so I’m guessing JHU doesn’t give very good aid.
pin your hopes on WUSTL :)

ansrox…don’t be so quick to judge ( I would think)! Both WUSTL and JHU are top-ranked schools in the United States…WUSTL at 12 and JHU at 14 I believe on the US News. So they are very competitive schools. Someone from my high school got into WUSTL last year, but he was class president and had a perfect SATI score along with some other awards. I’m hoping I have a shot…

btw Original poster…are you thinking of going into medicine?

You have great extracurriculars- committment and passion are evident.
I got into Washington University / WUSTL with a 2390 SATI and high SATIIs as well, and according to the National Merit Scholarship Foundation WUSTL has the fourth highest number of national merit finalists of all universities across the US. So I’d expect my fellow classmates have good numbers. So I agree with some of the above that numbers wise you are a bit on the low end. But write a good essay, show your hard and great work in your activities, and good luck!

Not sure about the applicant pool for JHU, but I’d say the same for JHU as I did for WUSTL.
