<p>what is JHU's rank for engineering?</p>

<p>Specifically, BME is #1. Not quite sure about engineering holistically. For overall university, hopkins is #13 according to USNews.</p>

Civil rank: 21
Computer rank: 21
Environmental rank: 7
Mechanical rank: 23</p>

<p>I think Mechanical should be higher, but it varies a lot year by year. </p>

<p>The key point is that it is top 15 for Engineering. Beyond this barrier (between 15-1), there really is little difference between each university's program quality.</p>
