<p>I just got an email saying I'm a semifinalist for the Jimmy Rane scholarship. Has anyone gotten this? Does anyone know how many semifinalists and finalists there are?</p>
<p>Well i havent received anything yet… Im surprised you already heard back, when did u submit ur app? I got an email saying they will contact by March 7 so i thought semifinalists would hear back during the first week of March.</p>
<p>Yeah I was really surprised too. I submitted mine around 10pm EST on February 15th.
The email I got says my fafsa is due to them by march 8th. So maybe they mean they’ll confirm that I’m still a SF after march 7th if I submit it.</p>
<p>Do they require the fafsa? If they do then what is the code?</p>
<p>My D has not heard back yet. We submitted on 2/19. Started to get bummed about all these applications and no positive feedback.</p>

<p>Im from New York. Looking at pass winners, I haven’t seen any from the northeastern area so i don’t know how my chances are for this scholarship</p>
<p>Yeah, mostly Alabama, who is very understandable sine that is where he is from and I believe he is a trustee at Auburn as well. There’s nearly any Texas, or Education majors. The emails still haven’t gone out, we still have hope!</p>
<p>I’m from Florida. I got a “semi-finalist” email on February 26th. I sent my FAFSA to them which was due this past Friday. The website says they’ll announce winners within 2 months of February 15th.</p>

<p>I have not. I can make it into the semifinalist group for the Nation wide Coca cola scholarship, but not this one? I don’t understand, but oh well.</p>
