everything that you need to know about JMU

hey whoever started this topic thanks, it was very helpful.
im planning on attending jmu next fall, and while i was accepted to a lot of very competitve northern schools, (i'm from central new jersey and live about twenty minutes from the city) most of them are ridiculously expensive and my family cant afford all of them (lehigh is forty thousand dollars a year). I would love to work in the city after college because it is one of my favorite places in the world. Do you think my chances of gaining an internship there would be hurt by attending a southern school?

jerseygirl, this post is a year old, but it is good that you restarted it. I was told, that contacts in NYC are growing at a rapid pace.

This school is 2 hours from the airport. They offer a charter bus for vacations, but getting home on an off week-end I think is a real pain. We are also from NJ.
