I will be attendinf JMU in the fall and was wondering form a student or someone who knows the dorms that could help tell me the best ones.
I know the skyline area is nice and new but i was wondering what are the best dorms if your tryin to have a good time and meet a lot of people.

I stayed with a friend who lives in the village (garber hall) and it was okay. I’m not a big fan of the layout of the suite/rooms but the location was really good! Right in the center of campus!

I loved the Hillcrest dorms, I thought those were really nice!
I also loved the new skyline area even though the location isn’t all that great.

The bluestone dorms are so nice! By far the nicest ones I have seen. I think that you have to request living in a learning community for those though.

Eagle dorm is kind of crappy, but you’ll have the most fun there since there are SO many freshmen.

Honestly, wherever you end up you’ll meet tons of people and enjoy your time!
