How can I increase my chances of getting accepted off the waitlist? I’m asking for a lot of aid and this school has one of the biggest waitlist. I have written some letters to show continued interest but I think it will be really tough for me to get in. Any advice? How can I lure them to accept me?

You have already done everything you can. You just have to wait and see.
It was suggested that you take a GAP year. You may want to do this to increase your choices and earn some money. You could also investigate loans in your country because you are more than likely to need a lot of cash to pay for your universities.
