Job during the school year?

<p>well..part time i guess...after school and on the weekends but i still had to go to school lol....but i still have good extracurriculars...i was just wondering if it would help in anyway cause im doing the Michigan application and i saw it had a space for a job...and hte job wasnt anything spectacular...(job at the grocery store)</p>

<p>Don't worry about the job, a job is a job. I know that I scooped ice cream from last August up to this June, and I did it for 15/20 hrs/wk and they absolutely loved it on my application [I actually got a personal letter from one college on balancing so many things], so yeah a job can be really helpful when applying, especially when you're capable of balancing so many things at once, personally I had applications, 5 AP's, plenty of clubs, and having a social life so it shows that you are mature enough to take on the extra responsibility.</p>
